Work Right
The Work Right campaign was the first-ever joint awareness effort involving Occupational Health and Safety and Employment Standards. Its focus was to use gentle, non-judgmental humour to encourage Albertans to think about what they knew about workplace legislation, and to encourage them to find out more. The goal was to promote safe, fair and healthy workplaces by encouraging a willing culture of compliance by both employers and workers.
An interactive web page was developed offering users many opportunities to test their knowledge and seek further information.
Other tools developed for the campaign included television and radio commercials, print ads, posters, billboards and specialized hand-outs.
