Section 155 Fall protection on vehicles and loads

(1) If a worker may have to climb onto a vehicle or its load at any location where it is not reasonably practicable to provide a fall protection system for the worker, an employer must

(a) take steps to eliminate or reduce the need for the worker to climb onto the vehicle or its load, and

(b) ensure that the requirements of subsection 159(2) are met.

(2) In addition to the requirements of subsection (1), an employer must ensure that if a load is not secured against movement, a worker does not climb onto the load.

(3) A worker must not climb onto a load if the load is not secured against movement.
